White with 1 Challenge

Yay!  After what seemed like an endless holiday at the start of the year, all the scrapbooking challenge blogs started up again.  My mojo also seemed to have taken holiday over this time as well .... so it was really good to get back to scrapbooking and to play around with some challenges.  Just a pity a really busy month at work got in the way of playtime and I could not do as much challenges as I wanted to.

So the White with 1 Challenge was to to use WHITE + PINK + HEARTS on a layout.

And this adorable photo of my great-neice Tyla was a perfect subject for this challenge.  She is a real sweetheart, so girly pink and hearts were perfect for her.

Scrap Therapy February 13 Sketch Challenge

With my impossible work schedule schedule this February, I only managed to do 2 scrapbooking challenges - the White with 1 challenge and the Scrap Therapy Febuary 13 Sketch Challenge.  I really liked the sketch with looked like this:

And I had 3 small photos taken of myself sometimes in the 80's which I wanted to preserve for my Book About Me.  So I flipped the sketch on its side and had a bit of fun with this retro layout.

Oh my, that curly perm hair which I loved so much in the 80's!
